Thanks Marie for the suggestion. I was thinking of something like putting the gloves around randomly, then taking some lace and some antique looking buttons. Ideas are just running thru my little brain!! Ha, ha!! Thanks again.

HI Everyone! I was recently given a box of stuff for crafting, it has a lot of ladies gloves, mostly unpaired. I'm thinking I saw somewhere a quilt that had ladies gloves incorporated in it. I'm going to try one, not sure whether to leave the glove…

I used to help a friend deliver Sunday newspapers. With everything locked up tight, it was like the village had been abandoned!
As I recall, the merchants in our area also closed on Wednesday afternoons so they could do their own 'shopping' at the wholesalers.

This group is for women who value simplicity, hard work, faith, goodwill and community. We are a network of friends who share our lives, our families, our dreams, our ideas and our tears. We are all ages and come from all walks of life, but we all have one thing in common...our longing for life as it was lived in the good old days.
