I am not really interested in this group but my father was in the Army in WWII. He is 87. I will see if he is interested in talking to you. He is on the computer daily. I will let you know after talking to him.

This is a facinating story. I have a couple of documentaries on the battle and computer reenactment. The German's were masters in figuring out the range of the Hood, thereby making direct hits.
