World War II

Since I found a gunner's manual for a B-29 bomber in a Salvation Army store years ago, I have wanted to know as much about WWII as possible and communicate with those who lived through it.

I am not really interested in this group but my father was in the Army in WWII. He is 87. I will see if he is interested in talking to you. He is on the computer daily. I will let you know after talking to him.

Glen,
This is a cool concept for a group. I love all miltary history. Both of my grandfathers and my grandmothers second husband were WWII veterans. Sadly, all three of them have passed. The WWII Vets are getting more rare each passing day. I am a Desert Storm Veteran. 29 years in the Marine Corps. I play golf with some Marines that served in the Korean War, the Forgotten War, and even those guys are in the mid 70s. I hope you find the Veterans you are looking for. I agree with you that WWII was 'The Big One.' Changed the world.I will help you anyway possible to contact some of these guys. There aren't that many left, God Bless Them All!
