as with having several hand operations, writing is a little rough for me.

I agree! There are so many nice people on here. I really like meeting people from all over the world. I really like to write also. I am going to be 47 on October 30th and I have a daughter that is going to be 29 on October 31st. I also have one grandson and he just turned 10 on July 15th. He lives in TN and my daughter lives in NY.

hi loretta, glad to hear from you. I'm sorry that it took so long to get back to you. I've been out of town.
I love crafts! Any kind! I have 1 dog, a Chihuhua. His name is Sir and he thinks that he's a human.
I spoil him rotten too. He was born on my birthday in 2000. So he is going to be 9 years old this year.

Hi Coleen, I'm a neighbor north of you in Oklahoma. I'm a 63 year old male with a few disabilities and lots of hobby interest such as drawing/painting, reading non-fiction, studying geology, collecting gemstones, coins, postcards(old),
and generally absorbing knowledge for my own satisfaction.
I also have Chihuahuas, two of them > A chocolate female and a silver grey male, both are toy size, weigh between 7 & 9 lbs. Mine are also like babies the are truly much easier to deal with than humans altho the think they are people. The female is named "Precious" and the male is "Sterling" They are the best company anyone could want and we share a lot of love and adventures together.
Well I am writing to volunteer for your penpal posse, so we all will have someone to gab with as life passes us by, also to invite you and all or friends on here to add to my forum page to share jokes and funnies with each other.

My wife teaches in Houston. Been ther a lot. Very Humid. I'm always looking for pen pals. I' lonely :-( Here is an intro. Anyone please write. I am a happily married man with four great kids. I am 47 years old. I enjoy reading, music (listening and writing), movies, gardening, history, traveling, learning new things, meeting new people, television and writing to pen pals around the world. I prefer snail-mail. It seems more personal and real, and I currently do not have reliable computer access. I have traveled the USA a little in Mexico and across Canada. Please contact me if you would like to be friends. I'm told I am a pretty good friend. I will respond to anyone, but I always seem to do better with female pen friends. (A little flirting doesn’t hurt, but is absolutely not necessary. My four current pen pals, of nearly five years, are all women, but there has never been any flirting or anything close. I only included this because I saw someone say they weren’t looking for romance, but a little flirting wouldn’t hurt). I like to believe I am respectful to everyone. I would love to hear from you, and talk about anything that interests you. My 17 year old son is the lead guitarist, singer and song writer in a heavy metal band. I do enjoy auto racing in every form, although my heart belongs to the open-wheel racing of the Indy Racing League. I am a huge fan of Sarah Fisher, and wish I had the means to help support her team, as she is a struggling owner-driver. I collect books, Bibles, Hymnals, cookbooks, baseball style caps and other trinkets. My girls collect anything about horses, music boxes and snow globes. I guess that’s a good start. I’m happy to talk about anything!
